In post-conflict rural Nepal, ex-Maoist commander Chandra Bahadur Buda returns home with Rs. 5 Lakhs and scars from war. He marries Tara, a young woman drawn to his compensation, not his past. Their growing family falls into debt due to Tara’s reckless spending, and one day, she mysteriously vanishes, presumed dead. Left to raise their son alone, Chandra battles injury and despair. The boy, gifted with a soulful voice, rises in the music scene, striving to uplift his father and confront a past that won’t stay buried—especially as the mystery of Tara’s disappearance resurfaces.
